This is 2nd AR that have Epic rarity after SCAR. I dont suggest you take this gun if you play solo mode, because this gun is useful for Assisting mates. The only AR that have Scope attached already. Assault Rifles are for harder fights where you need the dps. Compound bows are for pvp because of the armor penetration, Assault Rifles do more dps to unarmored targets like bosses. A lot of people have extra assault rifles lying around due to non use in PvP. They have their niche, but the best for them is boss fights, so you'll see a lot of people doing that. Fab snipers always get used in PvP. Also I'd say you have to take into account durability per bullet ration on each gun, I believe the AR kicks the fab's butt.

This enables one, with some preparation, to quickly dispatch weak mid-range opponents. Notably effective versus players unless they possess heavier armor.

Durability is consumed at 0.2 per shot. The engram pistol has 60 durability therefore it can shoot 300 shots before needing repaired. The Simple Pistol deals 30,000 ranged damage per 300 shots, and 600 ranged damage per magazine.

• The in-game model is heavily based on the Colt 1836 Paterson 5 shot revolver, as noted by the handle, folding trigger, and lack of trigger guard. It also shares some similarities to the Colt 1851 Navy Revolver, as indicated by it being a 6 shot revolver instead of only 5 shot, and having a loading lever, which Paterson's originally lacked, though many were fitted with them later on. It is missing the distinctive rear sight notch in its hammer that actual Colt's have to aid in aiming as well. In game, it loads unlike any real-world open-top revolver - in game, the loading lever allows the cylinder to be removed, while in real life, the gun must be disassembled in order to remove the cylinder.

The Fabricated Pistol is a more advanced version of the Simple Pistol. Even though the Fabricated Pistol has the second lowest damage per shot of any gun in the game, it makes up for this in various ways:

• The Fabricated Pistol uses Advanced Bullet which is the cheapest kind of ammunition in the game.
• The Fabricated Pistol has a larger magazine size than all guns, except the Assault Rifle and the Tek Rifle.
• The Fabricated Pistol has no weapon sway which makes it easier to hit shots from a long distance.

Durability is consumed at 0.1 per shot. The engram pistol has 210 durability therefore it can shoot 2,100 shots before needing repaired. The Fabricated Pistol can deal 105,000 ranged damage per 2,100 shots and 650 ranged damage per magazine, meaning it deals the most total ranged damage of any pistol in the game.

Fabricated pistol is good weapon while taming or farming due to it weight only 2.5 making it the the lightest weapon in the game and its good fire rate and decent damage.
